About Us

Burgfeld Engineering is not only a Business but family, working together, understanding each other and teaching each other. This company was started between 2 German Citizens wanting to start
a business in South Africa. The Name Burgfeld Engineering comes from the 1st German Citizen who was born in Hamburg Germany and the Other German Citizen was born in Elberfeld Germany.

The name was combined with Ham”burg” and Elber”feld” existing now as Burgfeld Engineering. A lot of History come with the business and we are proud that we still exist today. we walked this path for 54 years and we are going to walk this path for another 54 years.

We are proud of our engineering works, manufacturing process and our products.

Straight From The Heart

I introduce myself as Ulrich Berschat, Son of Founder Gunther Ernst Berschat. Burgfeld Engineering has been a big Part in my life since I was at the age of 12, learning already the engineering field. My Father and I bring more than 54 years’ experience in this field.

I firmly believe that we have the positive attitude to perform all tasks in the engineering field. we communicate well at all levels. We learn new things, new tasks and new people every day. I teach those who is interested in learning my work with pleasure.
